Batching

Batching is the process of combining transactions, typically by a rollup sequencer, into a single transaction before it is submitted to a layer one blockchain. The initial set of transactions is typically collected from multiple accounts, and the process reduces gas costs by amortizing fixed costs across the transactions of numerous accounts.
