Account

Accounts are a form of wallet identifier, similar in purpose to addresses, but that are smart contract based and typically use human-readable identifiers instead of alphanumeric strings. Because they are smart contracts, accounts may offer additional functionality, such as adding permissioned users.

It should be noted, though, that 'account' is sometimes used interchangeably with 'address', despite the aforementioned differences.
