Assets Under Management (AUM)
Assets under management (AUM) refers to the total market value of all assets controlled by a given entity, such as a smart contract address or an investment fund.
AUM is typically used to measure the success of a specific entity's growth strategies over time or to compare against other entities as part of a competitive analysis. In these respects, AUM is similar to Total Value Locked (TVL) and Total Value Secured (TVS), although, unlike TVL and TVS, AUM may incorporate both on-chain and/or off-chain assets.
